Kito Placemat & Coaster Set

Materials
Hand-spun natural sisal fiber with hand-dyed black detailing.
Description
The Kito Set pairs our woven placemat and matching coaster in one coordinated bundle -concentric rings of ivory and
black spiraling outward from a dark woven center on both pieces. Each is hand-coiled by artisans in Kariobangi, Nairobi,
from the fibers of the agave sisalana plant, so the pattern grows organically with the weave rather than being stamped or
printed on.
Layer the placemat beneath a dinner setting and use the coaster alongside for a coordinated table or display both together
as textural accents on an open shelf. A natural gift-ready pairing, with the ease of one bundled purchase.
As each piece is entirely handmade, subtle variations in pattern spacing and tone are part of its story -no two are exactly
alike.
Dimensions: not yet confirmed for either piece -add once measured.
Caring for Your Set
• Wipe clean with a lightly damp cloth as needed -spot clean rather than submerge.
• If a piece becomes bent or creased in shipping, lightly mist with cool water, let the fibers soften for a few minutes,
then gently press it flat.
• Air dry completely on a flat, protected surface before returning it to use.
