Hand-spun natural sisal fiber with hand-dyed black detailing.
Description
The little sibling to our Kito Placemat, this coaster carries the same radiating rings of ivory and black in a smaller,
everyday-friendly scale. Hand-coiled by artisans in Kariobangi, Nairobi, from the fibers of the agave sisalana plant, its
tightly woven construction protects your surfaces while adding a touch of handcrafted texture to your coffee table or bar
cart.
Mix and match a few for a low-key collected look or keep a single one at your favorite reading chair.
As each piece is entirely handmade, subtle variations in pattern spacing and tone are part of its story -no two are exactly
alike.

Caring for Your Coaster
• Wipe clean with a lightly damp cloth as needed -spot clean rather than submerge.
• If it becomes bent or creased in shipping, lightly mist with cool water, let the fibers soften for a few minutes, then
gently press it flat.
• Air dry completely on a flat, protected surface before returning it to use.
